Acting Superintendent Named
At the regular May 23, 2011 School Board meeting, the board accepted the request for a leave of absence from Superintendent Menozzi. According to law, a school district cannot operate without a superintendent's leadership. Discussion was held to fill the vacancy with an internal candidate who has the qualifying licensure.

Tom Doig, High School Principal, accepted the appointment as Acting Superintendent effective May 24, 2011. Mr. Doig will remain in the position of Acting Superintendent until June 30, 2011 or when an Interim Superintendent is selected and begins duties with the district.
