Rybak named to fill vacancy on School Board
At the December 13th meeting of the School Board, a letter of resignation from Trista Robischon was read and accepted. Discussion followed to find a replacement for the vacancy. Robischon's length of term remaining is three years. An appointment to fill the vacancy will end on December 31, 2011. A Special Election will be held in conjunction with the General Election which will take place in November of 2011.

Board Chairperson Walerius asked for a nomination to fill the vacancy. Tim Rybak was nominated and seconded . No other nominations were made. The vote to appoint Tim Rybak to fill the vacancy was unanimous. Following the meeting, Walerius made contact with Tim Rybak to confirm that he will accept the nomination.

Tim Rybak recently submitted his resignation to the School District. He has accepted a position with the Elk River School District. Rybak had been employed by New Prague Area Schools for over 24 years
