Minnesota Integration Program
The New Prague Area School District has been given an exciting opportunity to promote integration and diversity among students, family, and staff. This opportunity will expand our cultural understanding and promote academic achievement.

This past summer, the New Prague Area School District was invited to participate with three of our neighboring school district in the development of a regional integration plan. As a participant in this project, our students will receive additional funding for the development of programs and services.

An information meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 9th at 6:30 pm in the Montgomery/Lonsdale Middle School Media Center. Refreshments will be served.

During our meeting time, a rough draft of our vision, mission and beliefs will be discussed and refined along with an explanation of the integration process, funding information, programming possibilities, and the formation of an Integration Collaborative Council.

Community participation is very important as we begin this process. As part of our plan, an Integration Council will be formed with LeCenter, Montgomery/Lonsdale and Cleveland School Districts.

The council will play a key role in developing the overall plan and will bring a proposal to our Board of Education for consideration. If you are interested in being part of this council, please contact Craig Menozzi at 952-758-1701.
