Students Move A School!Originally Posted 08-16-2006
On Tuesday, August 15, New Prague High School Athletes and Coaches from the Cross Country, Football and Tennis teams joined forces to move into Raven Stream Elementary School. The athletes moved boxes, desks, chairs and other supplies needed to make a school operational and at one point formed a human chair to transfer over 300 chairs to the second floor of the new building. Principals Joan Anderson and Pat Pribyl are extremely greatful for the student help. Pat Pribyl commented that "without the student's assistance, the move would not have been able to be completed as quickly." The "movers" were treated to pizza at the end of their day!
