Top-seeded girls face New Ulm tonightOriginally Posted 02-14-2006
The New Prague (19-6-0) varsity girls hockey team, the defending Section 1A champs and seeded No. 1 this year, will face New Ulm (18-5-1) tonight (Tuesday) in the first of two semifinal games at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. The Trojans' game will start at 6 p.m., followed by the second semifinal game between Austin (20-7-0) and Albert Lea (11-12-3). New Prague, after receiving a first-round bye, rolled over Waseca 11-0 in the quarterfinals last Thursday. The section title game is set for Thursday night at 7:30 in St. Peter.
