New Prague Area Schools Special Education Parents Advisory Committee First Annual Special Education Informational and Transitions Resource Extravaganza Tuesday, April 19, 2005 6:00-8:30p.m. New Prague Middle School Auditorium (Enter through the NORTH side doors, facing the bus garage) SEPAC would like to invite all parents and guardians of special education and special services students to a truly unique opportunity. We are all aware that at some point in our child's education there have been questions, concerns and yes, sometimes even fear about the unknown. Hopefully, we can provide you with a new and exciting way to help alleviate the anxiety and questions that come along with your child's unique educational needs. To do so we are planning a wonderful event that will give parents and educators a chance to meet and get to know one another. If you have any questions or would like more information prior to this event you can call the following SEPAC committee members:
6:00-6:30 Resource Fair (lunch room/commons area) Information for birth through post secondary.
6:30-6:45 Welcome (Auditorium) * What is SEPAC * Why are we here 6:45-7:00 Enhanced 911 Form Chris Loose and Officer Gareis (New Prague Police) 7:00-7:15 Staff Introductions 7:15-7:30 Transition to small groups 7:30-8:30 Informational Sessions * The special education staff will break down into small groups by the building or area that they work in. * If you have more than one child you will have time to move from group to group. |
