That decision will be its recommendation to the School Board at the regularly scheduled April 25 meeting. Also discussed last night were proposals on how to name the new schools. The five proposals offered were: 1) include the school location in the name; 2) hold a general naming contest; 3) hold a community-based vote; 4) use heritage-reflected names; 5) have different themes at different grade levels. No decisions on naming were made last night, only proposals were discussed. |
