New Market Township gives go-ahead for land annexation
New Prague school moving forward
At last night's New Market Township Board meeting, the Board voted 2-1 in favor of On-Site Marketing's 120-acre annexation proposal which includes land for a new elementary school for District #721. Board members LeRoy Clausen and George Silverness voted in favor of the annexation while Harry Anderson was the dissenting vote.
In regards to the site for the new elementary school in New Prague, the school district, city and developer are pleased with the progress that has been made. All three parties involved have worked closely together to ensure the new school site will develop into a neighborhood the entire community can and will be proud of.
