Key Pals have pizza party
The second and seventh graders had a pizza party recently to culminate the Key Pals Program, which ran through the third quarter of school. The Key Pals Program is similar to pen pals, except the students were putting their letters on the computer, or, keying them in. The students would write letters and have the teachers print them off and deliver them to each student's Key Pal. The program allowed the second graders to better learn how to write a letter and gave them an opportunity to get to know a student at the Middle School. The two groups spent time in the Middle School computer lab drawing pictures of one another prior to
having a pizza party in the Art Room. The program came to an end at the end of the third quarter, but staff members are hopeful it will be continued next school year.
