Taskforce Narrows Options
The strategic taskforce looking at the configuration of the new elementary schools met again this week and has been looking at six different configuration options. Discussions ended this week with the Taskforce going ahead by looking at the following two options: 1) placing K-6 in the elementary buildings and quickly seeking the needed next elementary building. 2) Placing K-5 in the elementary buildings, creating a 6th grade annex at the current Intermediate School and moving to K-6 upon passage of a bond for another elementary. The Taskforce is scheduled to meet again Tuesday, March 22.
