The State of Minnesota has passed legislation to provide all-day/every-day Kindergarten at no cost to parents beginning next school year. This funding source allows us to explore several Kindergarten options and it is our desire to find out what parents in this school district prefer for their young children. If you have a child who is either one or two years away from entering Kindergarten and will be attending New Prague Area Schools, please take a moment to complete a short online survey today at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NPASKsurvey. The survey closes on November 22nd; information gathered will be used to help decide how many children to plan for in our Kindergarten programs as well as what will be offered. You are not committing to anything right now; you are just providing us with your thoughts. The options being looked at for the purpose of this survey are:
Please plan to attend a parent information meeting in either Elko New Market or New Prague for more information and to get answers to your questions. Informational meetings will be held on Monday, December 2nd at Eagle View Elementary in Elko New Market and on Monday, December 9th at Falcon Ridge Elementary in New Prague. Both meetings will begin at 6:30pm. Thank you. |
