Dozinky Variety Show Will Highlight School District Students
The Roundbank Dozinky Variety Show tickets are now on sale at the Chamber of Commerce, online through Community Education and at Roundbank (where through Friday you can purchase tickets and enter a drawing to win a $100 Visa Gift Card!) The New Prague Art's Council sponsors this fundraiser and profits are used to fund Artist's Alley, which is a free event for all ages to interact with artists and make some neat projects to take home (this takes place after the Dozinky Parade on the grassy area next to the Gardner Building and Pauly's Pub from 1-4). The Variety Show emcee is our own Mr Dittberner! We also have a lot of great talented groups and individuals including Jamieson Lindquist (rope twirling and grad of NP Schools, Emma Diehl, Jacqueline Sleavin, and Danielle Quadene who will amaze you with their rich voices and song writing abilities, Katherine Gorr (Sandy Gallagher's daughter) will open with the National Anthem, Abigail Everson and Gillian Duncan(from the MS) will present their speech, The Fruit Loops (3 high schoolers) will make you laugh, local dance companies will entertain you as well. In addition, NP Community Band and Little Chicago will perform, along with a newcomer Ali Jae Nicolai who will sing a Broadway tune and more! The show starts at 7PM and the state science fair group will be offering free will refreshments at intermission. Please consider coming to the show as it is going to be a great night of entertainment!
