School Board Election - Candidate Filing Period
July 30 - August 13
New Prague Area Schools will be conducting a General Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. At the election, three candidates will be elected to the School Board for terms of four years each.

At the June 24, 2013 School Board Meeting, the board passed a resolution establishing the dates for the candidate filing period. Filing will begin on July 30 and shall close on August 13th. Affidavits of Candidacy will be available in the office of the Superintendent from the school district election clerk at 410 Central Ave North in New Prague. A filing fee of $2 will be charged.

A candidate for this office must be an eligible voter, must be 21 years of age or more on assuming office, must have been a resident of the school district from which the candidate seeks election for thirty(30) days before the general election, and must have no other affidavits onn file for any other office at the time of the general election.

The affidavits of candidacy must beiled in the office of the school district clerk and the filing fee paid prior to 5:00 o'clock pm closing on August 13, 2012
