We have had some calls regarding the legislature approving all day kindergarten. Here is what we know at this time. The legislature did pass new legislation that will allow districts to offer free all day kindergarten beginning with the 2014-15 school year. We don't have all of the particulars of this yet, for example, how will our alternate day program be affected? As soon as we get more information on this we will share it with you. Our school board will be discussing this change this fall, as to how our district is impacted by this legislation.
