One of the most important decisions that a school board makes is to hire a new superintendent. As a long time member of the South Central Service Cooperative insurance pool, the New Prague School Board has decided to use the cooperative's Superintendent Search Program to help facilitate the search for a new superintendent. The timeline for the superintendent search is as follows:
A very important component of the search process is to seek staff, student, parent, and community input into the creation of a profile of attributes that a new superintendent should possess to be successful in the New Prague School District. You can provide input by attending the community meeting with the Cooperative's search consultants at 6:30pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in School Board Room at the District Central Education Campus. If you cannot attend this meeting, you can also provide input on-line by completing this Superintendent Search Questionnaire electronically. The South Central Service Cooperative Search Consultants will tabulate the results of the returned questionnaires and assist the School Board in the creation of a profile of the skills and abilities that the new superintendent should possess to be successful. Your engagement in the search process will be greatly appreciated by the New Prague School Board. If you have any questions about the search timeline or process please contact Butch Hanson, South Central Service Cooperative at jmhch@midco.net or visit with a member of the New Prague School Board. |
