Four seats on the New Prague Area Schools Board of Directors, those currently held by Dan Carlson, Tom Fadden, Denny Havlicek, and Bob Reed, are up for election November 6, 2007. Interested applicants, including incumbents, are reminded that the period for filing is from July 3 until 5:00 PM on July 17, and are also encouraged to read the article in the June 21 New Prague Times, P. 11, in which current board member Jerry Walerius discusses service on the board. The School District Office at 410 Central Avenue N. (East Entrance) will provide the forms; accept the completed forms with the $2.00 filing fee; and, when available, provide notary services. The District Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day. |
