Athletics:
Athlete: A former New Prague athlete who performed with excellence and lettered in a varsity sport. Nominees must be, or must have been, a credit to New Prague High School and the community. Candidates must be a New Prague High School graduate and out of high school for at least ten (10) years.
Coaches: A nominee must be either a former or present coach who has distinguished himself/herself by demonstrating exceptional leadership, character, and athletic achievement during his/her tenure at New Prague.
At Large: A person who has been a loyal and devoted supporter of New Prague High School athletics.

Distinguished Alumni: Nominees must be graduates of New Prague High School and have distinguished themselves in some way that has brought respect and honor to themselves, New Prague High School, and the community of New Prague.

Distinguished Service: Inductees need not be graduates of New Prague High School; however, they should have distinguished themselves by contributing to the youth of New Prague and especially New Prague High School. People eligible would be former teachers, coaches, administrators, community members, and former community members.

All nominees must be at least a ten-year graduate for the athletic and distinguished alumni awards, and a recent retiree or no longer an employee of the district, for the distinguished service award. Nominees may be living or deceased.

Nomination forms are available at the high school office, athletic office, or by clicking here. Nominations need to be turned in to the high school office by Friday, March 7, 2008. The Alumni and Service Award winners will be honored at the high school in the spring at the Evening of Excellence Program. The Athletic Award winner will be honored at the Athletic Banquet held each spring at the Park Ballroom. Plaques with a picture of the recipient and pertinent information will be mounted in our high school commons area.

Even if you have nominated an individual in the past, you are asked to resubmit the individual's name and any information that would be beneficial for the selection committees.

Any additional questions can be answered by calling Lonnie Seifert, Assistant Principal or Bob Scripture, Athletic Director at the high school. (952-758-1200)
