SUBSTITUTE TEACHER & PARAPROFESSIONAL MEETING
New Prague Area Schools, District 721, has the need for substitutes: A Brief Introduction to Technology for Substitutes to New Prague Area Schools
Monday, July 27 ~ 10:30 a.m. ~ High School Lecture Hall
Business does not operate the same way it did 20 years ago; the classroom has changed as well. Teachers use technology to enhance instruction, engage students, communicate with parents, and collaborate with colleagues. This session will introduce the most widely used technologies in New Prague Area Schools.
• LCD Projectors
• DVD/VCR Players
• Mimio Interactive Whiteboards
• Question Period for Other Tools Needed
No registration is needed! Just show up!!


• People with four-year degrees (willing to become temporarily licensed) or a valid teaching license as substitute teachers for grades K-12
Pay rate is $100 per day

• People willing to be a paraprofessional substitute
Pay rate is $9.30/hr, hours vary

All new employees are required to have a background check on file. If you have not had a background check completed by the BCA within the last 12 months by another school district, you must also bring along a check (cash not accepted) written out to the BCA in the amount of $15.00.
