Important Message Regarding The Food Service Account Balance Policy

On December 13, 2010 the New Prague Area Schools Board of Education adopted an updated policy regarding food service account balances. The updated policy #726 can be viewed here.

Effective January 17, 2011 the policy for families with negative account balances will change. If a family's food account balance falls to or below $0, a family will be allowed two more meals per student. If the account is still below $0 after two meals, the student(s) in the family will receive a cheese sandwich and milk until the account has a positive balance.

Payments can be made on-line via the food service section of the website or can be sent in with students and turned in to the office. Free/Reduced application forms are available at each school's office or can be downloaded from the district's website.

Please call Bob Foix 758-1220 if you have any questions.
