NPHS Concert Choir & Emotion Take First Place in Competitions

Emotion Director Nicole Thietje has been informed that the Emotion Group has won the competition to be the next group to sing the Fox Morning News Jingle. The group is planning on visiting the Channel 9 Studio and having the commercial taped with the morning news crew.

Thanks so much for your votes and support! I know the kids are THRILLED!, said Director Thietje.

CONCERT CHOIR:
Congratulations to the New Prague Concert Choir under the direction of Rita Sapp for a 3 Superior Rating at the Region 2AA Choir Large Group Competition.

The event took place on Monday, March 14th at New Prague High School with 9 choirs performing for 3 judges. New Prague Concert Choir was the first choir that performed and each judge gave them a top rating.

As one judge stated at the end of the night "usually you save the best for last but tonight the best was first".
