Intermediate School earns awardsOriginally Posted 04-25-2005
New Prague Intermediate School was honored with a pair of awards for its effort during the recent Pennies for Pages drive. For the month of February, the school raised a total of $11,024.44 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The school finished second throughout the state in terms of money raised and was awarded a commemorative plaque as well as a "Reaching for the Stars School Award", which the school received at the Pennies for Patients Salute to Our Heroes event earlier this month. Pictured above with the two awards is Erika Ehrich, her third grade class and Intermediate School Dean of Students, Dave Giesen.
