She has five years experience as an elementary school administrator, 10 years as an elementary school teacher and fours years of business management experience. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Masters and Doctorate Degrees from the University of Minnesota. Barbara and her husband, Paul, currently reside in Burnsville and they have two children, Hannah and Joshua. When she can find free time, she enjoys reading and doing crossword puzzles as well as biking with her husband. "We feel fortunate to have landed a principal the caliber of Dr. Wilson," New Prague Area Schools Superintendent Dr. Frankie Poplau said. "Her credentials are impeccable and with her warm and friendly personality she will be a great asset for the school district." Dr. Wilson will be introduced to the School Board on Monday, May 9 at the regularly scheduled meeting and a reception is being planned for district staff members and residents, to help welcome her to New Prague Area Schools. |
