Approximately 94 percent of all seniors from the New Prague High School Class of 2012-13 graduated on time. This well exceeded the state average of 79%, according to a report released by the Minnesota Department of Education.

This is great news for our district and community. New Prague is well above the state average. It's nice to know we are doing well in this area.

Our staff continues to be committed to meeting the needs of every student. We will continue to modify and fine-tune what we do to increase our graduation rates even more.

In all of the neighboring districts, the graduation rates were above the state average: Lakeville, 90%; Shakopee, 85%; Prior Lake, 89%; Tri-City United, 92%; Belle Plaine, 85%, Jordan, 96%; Faribault, 92%; Northfield, 94%; and Le Sueur-Henderson, 83%.
