Drew Danner was offered and accepted the positions of science teacher and head football coach at New Prague High School, pending school board approval. Drew has seventeen years of teaching and coaching experience at both the high school and college levels. He has been a science teacher and assistant varsity football coach at Minnetonka High School since 2006. Prior to Minnetonka, he taught science and coached football (defensive coordinator) at Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Missouri. Drew has also had collegiate coaching experiences at Huron University (SD), South Dakota State University, William Jewell College (MO), and the University of Missouri. Drew is a graduate of Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, MO received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from William Jewell College in Liberty, MO, where he played football for the Cardinals. Drew and his wife, Krista, currently reside in Shakopee with their two daughters – Ella (8) and Madeline (6). Krista is originally from the area and they are looking forward to becoming part of the New Prague area community. |
