Tuesday, May 6, 2014, is National Teacher Day. Thank a teacher for making all schools great!
Teachers in the New Prague Area Schools and in communities across the nation will be in the spotlight on National Teacher Day, as students, parents, school administrators and the general public learn how teachers are making Great Schools for every student.

"Few other professionals impact as many people as teachers do," notes Brian Triplett, President of the New Prague Education Minnesota. "National Teacher Day is a good time to learn about the contributions educators make to our community every day. We recognize we are role models. That brings satisfaction. It also brings responsibility and all teachers realize that.^TM

The New Prague Area Schools employ 284 certified teachers. On behalf of the entire District Office and Administrative staff, we would like to congratulate and thank each and every teacher today for all of your dedication and hard work to the great students of New Prague Area Schools.
The success that New Prague has shown in the areas of academics, arts, and athletics has come from the hard work of our teachers, advisors, and coaches. Each and every day you can walk the halls of our six school buildings and observe the engagement taking place between our professionals and our students.
