Raven Stream Elementary Math scores increase over 7% and a 10% gain was made in our Special Education Reading results. When the performance of all grade levels tested is averaged, 76.52 percent of New Prague Area School students achieved a proficient level in math compared with the state average of 65.89 percent, and 79.82 percent of district students achieved proficiency in reading compared with a state average of 72.34. The New Prague Area School Board has identified ten districts in which we compare our test results based upon like demographics and location to the metro area. Below is the chart of our comparatives showing the percent of students showing proficiency in the described area: Note: the number in parentheses indicates where our district ranks among the comparatives.
